restore

We aim to release thousands of juvenile lobsters back into the wild to restore and protect the wild population. We hope to achieve this through the cultivation of lobster larvae in our specialised recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). We carefully select suitable release sites in the local vicinity to ensure the long-term survival to adulthood for our hatchery-reared lobsters.

conserve

Through our juvenile lobster release programme we hope to make a significant contribution towards the conservation of our local lobster population. We are committed to growing and developing our capabilities through continued research and collaboration with other crustacean hatcheries. We aim to offset the number of native lobsters landed locally, enhance our future fishery for years to come and promote the importance of responsible environmental stewardship.

sustain

We are committed to ensuring the future sustainability of our local native lobster population and will proactively work towards achieving significant positive change that benefits the marine environment, our coastal community and the local economy in the long term.  We aim to achieve this through our juvenile lobster release programme, promotion and education of sustainable fisheries management and engagement with our local stakeholders, community members and visitors to our restaurant and hatchery site.
